In 2012, we camped for 4 days in the living room of Daniel's parents' house, while they were out of town, and set up a few mics through some loaner preamps and cables. With no musical ideas written, or a specific sound in mind, we'd improvise for a few hours in the morning before it got too hot and then later in the evening when our mind's chatter had slightly subsided, all the while letting the "tape" roll. These songs were then scavenged from the musical bursts and swells of inspiration.
